Our practice
nurses are able to provide advice about many aspects of
health care including Family Planning, Asthma, Diabetes,
HRT (Hormone Replacement Therapy) , Health promotion,
Smoking Cessation, immunisations (for travel and routine
baby immunisations), dressings e.t.c. They carry out all
Cervical Smears on ladies on the NHS Recall system.
They can also
deal with a variety of minor injuries such as sprains,
burns, and splinters. It is often much easier to get an
appointment with one of our Nurses. If you think they may be
able to deal with your problem please ask the Receptionist
for an appointment. If you are not sure the Receptionist may
be able to help you.
One of our
Nurses also runs a special clinic for Patients with Coronary
Heart Disease. This is a new NHS initiative and if you
suffer with this condition you will be contacted over the
next twelve months.
